Working for Stuart Olson Construction--Red Deer College and Red Deer Civic Yards (across from the pig slaughtering plant....8,000 pigs per day--imagine the smell). Am now just resigning--tired of getting up at 5 am and putting in 10 hour days. At 53 it takes its toll. But it has put me in terrific shape. Am now thinking of starting up my own painting business. At least I'll keep warm this winter.
Spent Thanksgiving with Malcolm, Mom, Warren, Donna, Doug, and Jenn. It was great to be together again. I love the property in Sorrento too. Couldn't breathe it all in deeply enough. Nice time with the family.
Today Wendy and I planted dozens of Lily bulbs. Many different types and colors. Should be beautiful by next summer.
Well, tomorrow I go to the Civic Yards and pick up my tool pouch, shop for painting materials, and begin my first painting contract--Wendy's half duplex in Woodlands.
Welcome to my blog. Be prepared as I intend to use this site as a sounding board in the future. I can be very opinionated.
Chow for now. Richard
